How do I get started?
Getting started with Prestigious Paws is simple. First, get your pet registered by scheduling your 15-30 minute Meet & Greet through our website (or just contact us). Then, after we meet your pet and get some quick paperwork filled out, we will work around your schedule to start planning our visits!
Can I schedule an appointment online?
Yes! You can schedule appointments with Prestigious Paws 24/7 by filling out our online scheduling form. Or, contact us anytime by phone, text, or email.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Of course. You may cancel or change your appointment up to 2 hours prior to scheduled service.
Are you open during the holidays?
Yes, we are! We charge an additional 30% for services on holidays.
What pet care services do you offer?
Prestigious Paws offers a variety of pet care services for dogs, cats, and other small animals. We offer in home visits, dog walking, a pet taxi service, doggy day trips, and much more. A complete list of services can be found here.
Do you offer any complimentary services?
Upon request, we are happy to administer oral medications or insulin injections, retrieve your mail, water the plants, dispose of the trash, rotate your blinds/lights, and deliver your key in the case of an emergency.
Will you give my pet medication when needed?
Prestigious Paws would be happy to administer medication to your pet and our Pet Specialists have extensive experience doing so. If we are already at your home, we will provide the service free of charge. If your pet needs a special visit for medication, you will only be charged a $10 drop-in fee.
Will you take my pet to grooming/vet appointments?
Prestigious Paws offers an awesome pet taxi service which safely chauffeurs your pet to any appointments they have. We will pick your pet up from home, give them some love, and escort them to their destination and back.
What are your payment options?
We send out invoices every Friday for the previous week’s services and accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal for payment.
Do you offer an incentive for referrals?
If you know someone who may be interested in our services, please feel free to send us their info. After they send payment for their first service we will reward you with a $25 credit good towards anything we offer!
Do you have pet insurance?
Prestigious Paws carries comprehensive coverage through USAA to protect the safety of your pets and our employees.
Do you have a physical location?
Prestigious Paws operates solely out of our clients’ homes. We find that your pet is less stressed when they are able to stay within the comfort of their own territory.
Why should I have my dog walked regularly?
Daily walks can benefit your dog tremendously. They not only stimulate your dog and excite their senses, they help keep muscles and joints supple and healthy, and they help relieve pent up energy which can assist in correcting behavioral issues.
Do you work with animals other than dogs and cats?
Although we primarily work with dogs and cats, we love working with other pets too! We provide care for birds, lizards, chickens, and most other small creatures.
Sometimes my pet is aggressive, what if they don’t like you?
We always do our best to accommodate all pets – no matter their quirks. But, sometimes they can become aggressive with a specific gender and if this is the case, we will try introducing both a male and female Pet Specialist to your pet. If they still show aggression after our attempts to win them over, we would have to recommend another company we trust to work with your pet.
What if I have more than one pet?
Caring for a second pet is complimentary, but we do charge an additional 30% for a third pet.
Who will have access to my home?
Every Prestigious Paws client is assigned a dedicated Pet Specialist. If for any reason your Pet Specialist isn’t able to make your appointment (this doesn’t happen very often, if at all), you will be notified in advance that one of our other trusted specialists will be filling in for them.
How will I know when my walk or visit is over?
After every walk or visit, you’ll receive an update via text with a summary of the day’s adventures. You’ll also get all of the fun pictures and videos we took!
Will you come at the same time everyday?
Upon scheduling, we will agree on a 2 hour window with you and we’ll do our best to come closest to that time each day – depending on the weather and our other scheduled walks in the area.
What if I’m unsatisfied with my service?
We strive to be the best. But, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us and we will gladly issue you a refund – hassle-free.
